Job summary

Barkley SurgiCenter is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Endoscopy/Operating Room Circulator to join our team. The RN will provide nursing care and service during surgery cases, position and prep patients, and circulate cases while maintaining infection control and professional standards.

Ideal candidates have Endo/GI experience, at least 1 year as a Circulator, and an unrestricted RN license in the state. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• Must have Endo/GI experience.
• 1+ years of experience working as a Circulator required.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team with focus on patient care and infection control.

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
