Job summary

University of Vermont Health Network seeks an Operating Room Nurse at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT. You will work in a collaborative surgical environment, supporting perioperative care and patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting surgeons, maintaining sterile technique, advocating for patients, and promoting efficient workflow. On-call is required, with sign-on incentives of up to $10K for full-time staff and relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• Operating Room experience in a surgical setting preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams in the perioperative process.
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment and advocate for patients.
• Ensure efficient surgical workflow and patient flow.
