Job summary

ProLink is seeking an Operating Room Nurse to provide perioperative care, scrub and circulate during procedures, and ensure asepsis in general ORs. The ideal candidate will have OR experience, expertise in perioperative nursing, and the ability to manage sterile fields and patient safety.

The role involves assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, administering medications as directed, and documenting care in Epic.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment required.
• Experience in operating room settings or perioperative nursing is essential.
• Strong knowledge of asepsis, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures and maintain sterile fields.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and respond to changes.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment for procedures.
• Administer medications as directed within scope of practice.
• Document perioperative care in the EHR system (e.g., Epic).
• Manage inventory and supply levels for the operating room.
