Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Synergy Surgery Center in Englewood, CO is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center. You will contribute as circulating or scrub role, ensuring safe and effective nursing care until transfer to recovery.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license, and at least 1 year in an OR setting. You will manage equipment, assist anesthesia, document thoroughly, and support efficient case flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or compact licensure.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required/used in facility.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the instrument and equipment set-up for your OR, including utilization of preference cards and ability to anticipate your surgeon’s needs.
• Coordinate and oversee your room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures.
• Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving patients to stretchers and OR tables to prevent injury.
• Manage patient care and medications, including assistance with anesthesia.
• Review charts for completeness per documentation protocols before and after procedures.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care until your patient is transferred from your care to recovery.

What you will do in this role:

• Oversee the instrument and equipment set-up for your OR, including utilization of preference cards and ability to anticipate your surgeon’s needs

Qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment ***online certification not acceptable
• ACLS as required by facility
• CNOR certification preferred
