Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $142,000.00/yr

This Perioperative Nurse Manager opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. This dynamic individual will be responsible for the 24 hour management of the assigned unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Competent in the care of patients within the specialty area. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
• Orients staff, provides continuing education and competency evaluation to staff in department regarding specialized knowledge and skills necessary for proficient practice in the clinical setting. Guides staff learning in order to enhance team performance. Maintains documentation of these activities. Ensures staff participation in in-service programs.
• Creates and maintains employee schedules. Monitors staff attendance to policy and coaches/counsels accordingly.
• Improves department processes that positively impact results. Effectively manages people through changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Current NV Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS (if assigned to telemetry or surgical services)
• Minimum five (5) years clinical experience in an Acute Care Hospital OR
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive management experience in an Acute Care Hospital OR with manager level experience preferred.
