Qualifications

• English language proficiency for direct patient care.

• GNT exception allows temporary appointment while pursuing licensure.
• VA grandfathering provision for current VHA 0610 series employees.
• Preferred Experience: 5+ years operating room experience, with training in the surgical technician position.

• The OR RN plans, directs, and coordinates the care of patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures, taking into consideration respect for the individual and recognition of the important contribution that each team member makes to the patient’s wellbeing.
