Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) — Board Runner — to lead patient-centered care on the unit during shifts. You will coordinate nursing activities, guide staff, and ensure adherence to policies while supporting a strong patient experience and outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure, OR circulating experience, and BCLS within 30 days. Collaboration with management and other leaders will drive staffing, training, and service

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) licensure is required.
• OR Circulating experience is REQUIRED.
• Board Runner experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for throughput and patient-centered care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with experts to improve teamwork and clinical outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Support nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and staff engagement.
• Provide input on interviewing, selecting, and training staff; handle performance actions as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs.
• Assist with inventory control and supplies management.
