Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a registered nurse to coordinate and provide professional nursing care using the nursing process for patients of all ages. You will collaborate with other health care professionals and agencies to meet patients' needs.

You will contribute to ongoing performance appraisals, and to departmental and patient financial outcomes. Required: graduate of an accredited nursing program, current NC RN license or Nursing Compact, and BCLS certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
• BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide professional nursing care appropriate to the age of the patient using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals and agencies to meet the needs of our customers.
• Provide input into the performance appraisal process for each assigned team member on an on-going basis.
• Accountable for input into departmental and patient financial outcomes.
