Job summary

Carolina Surgical Center at Piedmont is hiring an Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) for a full-time position. The Circulator provides nursing care during surgery, including patient positioning and prepping.

Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active RN license, BLS and ACLS/PALS as required. 2–5 years of Circulator experience in ASC or multispecialty settings preferred. A 10K sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• 2-5 years of experience working as a Circulator in fast paced ASC setting or similar experience in hospital multispecialty facilities

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures

Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) at Carolina Surgical Center at Piedmont

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• 2-5 years of experience working as a Circulator in fast paced ASC setting or similar experience in the hospital setting in a multispecialty facility including but not limited to ENT, ophthalmology, including cataract and retina services, pediatric dental, podiatry, general surgery, urology, ocular plastics, gyn, and orthopedics.
• current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.
