Job summary

SurgCenter of Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to support a dedicated ambulatory surgery team in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The Circulator will help position and prep patients, circulate cases, and ensure sterile technique throughout ENT, orthopedics, sports medicine, podiatry, and pain management procedures.

This weekday-only role offers a collaborative environment with Baylor Scott & White Health and USPI, with no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Support cases in ENT, Ortho/Total Joints, Sports medicine, podiatry, and pain management.

Registered Nurse Operating Room atSurgCenter of Plano

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, Ortho/ Total Joints, Sports medicine, podiatry, and pain management.
