Job summary

St. Thomas Surgery Center – Midtown is hiring an Operating Room Nurse. This RN circulator will position and prep patients and circulate cases, serving multiple specialties with a focus on safe, quality care.

The role requires an accredited RN program graduate with an active TN RN license, CPR and ALS certification, and at least one year of intra-operative experience. No weekends, no call, and no holidays are noted in this posting.

Qualifications

Operating Room Registered Nurse at St. Thomas Surgery Center – Midtown

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active TN RN license
• CPR required and advanced life support certification required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
