Woman’s Hospital seeks an Operating Room Manager to lead perioperative operations, drive safe and efficient surgical care, and support ambulatory and outpatient service expansion.

The role partners with surgeons, anesthesia and nursing leadership to optimize staffing, throughput, and resource use while advancing departmental priorities. Strong leadership and OR experience are essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of five years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience in ambulatory/outpatient surgical settings preferred.
• Certification in perioperative nursing or area of practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support leadership and operational oversight for daily Operating Room activities across inpatient, ambulatory, and outpatient services.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient surgical care.
• Monitor and improve surgical throughput including starts, utilization, turnover and case flow.
• Optimize block utilization and expand access and efficiency for surgical services.
• Use data to identify trends, evaluate performance and implement improvements for outcomes.
• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory readiness initiatives.
