Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required; RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required.
• Master's degree preferred; five years' technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership and directs activities of nursing and ancillary personnel.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager/Director, physicians, and staff to develop and revise care plans.
• Ensures high patient safety, quality of care, and patient satisfaction; participates in PI activities.
• Manages staffing based on patient acuity; hires, evaluates, and disciplines unit personnel.
