Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Operating Room Environmental Services Attendant at OLATHE MEDICAL CENTER to provide high-quality cleaning in the perioperative environment. You will help create a safe, healthy setting for patients and hospital staff and support daily operating room workflows with reliable, meticulous attendance.

This full-time role offers afternoon/evening shifts, a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $21.99 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for training and advancement

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain specified areas within the Perioperative Suites following hospital policies.
• May assist in an OR with limited patient care, such as moving or transporting with the RN Circulator.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed by account requirements.

What You’ll Do:

As an Operating Room Environmental Services Attendant at Sodexo, you are a hygiene hero and planet protector. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment. Your passion for cleaning has a positive impact on the patients and hospital staff that you support.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean and maintain specified areas within the Perioperative Suites. Follow hospital regulations/policies regarding cleaning, biohazard waste disposal, linen distribution, restocking and communication with ancillary departments as needed.
• May be called to assist in an OR suite with limited patient care, i.e., assisting with moving, transporting, or aiding the RN Circulator with limited patient contact.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
