Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Operating Room Environmental Services Attendant at UNC Rockingham Healthcare. The role focuses on delivering high-quality cleaning to create a safe environment for patients and staff on varying afternoon/evening/overnight shifts.

The position is full-time with a pay range of $16–$17 per hour. Training and benefits are provided, and some sites offer additional perks. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to patient care and hospital safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain specified areas within the Perioperative Suites. Follow hospital regulations/policies regarding cleaning, biohazard waste disposal, linen distribution, restocking and communication with ancillary departments as needed.
• May be called to assist in an OR suite with limited patient care, i.e., assisting with moving, transporting, or aiding the RN Circulator with limited patient contact.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Afternoon/ evening shifts/ overnights - - varying days, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.
