Job summary

Fish Pond Surgery Center is hiring an Operating Room Nurse to support five OR rooms and one treatment room. The OR RN will assist in general anesthesia procedures, position patients, prep and circulate cases, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical flow.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, active Texas RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required. Prior circulator experience of at least 1 year is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN school.
• Active RN license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS as required by the center.

Responsibilities

• The RN Circulator provides nursing care during surgery, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating the case.

Job description

Fish Pond Surgery Center is hiring an Operating Room Nurse. We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Podiatry, and Urology. Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule is subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases, including positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experience in the following specialties is preferred (if applicable).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
