Job summary

Surgery Center of Boerne is hiring a Part Time Operating Room Nurse. The Circulator RN provides nursing care during surgery, positions and preps the patient, and circulates the case in selected specialties.

Weekday schedule; some early mornings or evenings may be required based on the surgical schedule. This role requires an active RN license and OR circulating experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient before surgery.
• Prepare the patient for the case.
• Circulate the case during surgery.
• Assists in surgical procedures as applicable.

Surgery Center of Boerne is hiring a Part Time Operating Room Nurse

Welcome to Surgery Center of Boerne

Situated just north of San Antonio. We have 3 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology, General, Orthopedics. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Surgery Center of Boerne
The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable
