Assist with the physical and emotional needs of surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
Support the surgical team by preparing equipment, supplies, and patient areas
Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure continuity of care
Foster positive relationships with other departments and nursing units
Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and empathy in all patient interactions
Uphold Meritus Health’s standards of safety, service, and collaboration
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a Nursing Assistant program preferred
Experience
Related experience in patient care preferred
Licensure/Certification
Current BLS (CPR) certification required, in compliance with Meritus Health policy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
