Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange is seeking an Operating Room Assistant for a part-time, day-shift role in Orange, CA. The position supports the OR by ensuring functional equipment, assisting with room setup, turnover, and patient handling during transfers.

Under supervision, you will help maintain a safe, clean environment in OR suites and peripheral areas, aligning with Magnet standards and Providence's patient-focused care culture.

Competenze

• National Provider BLS from American Heart Association required upon hire.

Operating Room Assistant atProvidence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is part time, day shift position and will work 8 hour shifts.

Under the immediate supervision of the Lead Support Technician and the general direction of the Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, the Support Tech provides ancillary services in the Operating Room.The three major responsibilities consist of the following: 1) ensuring the availability of well-functioning equipment for every surgical case, 2) assisting nursing personnel in room set up & turnover and in selected patient support services such as turning, lifting, and transporting patients, and 3) maintaining a safe and clean work environment in the O.R. suites and peripheral areas.
