Job summary

Halifax Health ExpressCare is seeking an Operating Room/Anesthesia Tech to transport patients of all ages to and from the surgical suite, assist with positioning and prepping, and maintain OR cleanliness.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED. Preferred experience includes Critical Care Tech, Nursing Assistant, SPD or OR. Must follow verbal and written instructions, and BLS is required. May perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients (newborn to geriatric) to and from the surgical suite.

• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including hand-off procedures.
• Stock supplies for the department and attend assigned meetings.
