CHI Health Midlands in Nebraska seeks an Operating Engineer to independently handle journeyman-level duties for the energy plant, hospital, and related equipment. You will design, install, operate, and maintain building systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and occupant comfort, while monitoring issues and proposing optimal solutions.

The role requires extensive technical expertise, strong safety focus, and autonomous work with high standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years boiler operation experience required.
• Steam plant third grade engineers course (NAPE) required.
• Third Grade Station Engineer: NE required.

Responsabilités

• Operates high-pressure boilers.
• Operates chillers and absorbers.
• Compiles water treatment reports.
• Performs maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, steam pipes, and related machinery.
• Operates automated building control computer and makes corrections as required.
• Operates/adjusts air handling equipment.
