Job summary

Facade Today seeks an experienced Operating Engineer to maintain and operate a premier commercial property in Dallas Uptown. This direct-hire role requires hands-on building engineering with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include operating plants and systems, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with property management. On-call rotations and occasional overtime are expected for this full-time onsite position.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related commercial building/facilities engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Work with HVAC/mechanical systems, DDC and pneumatic controls, plumbing, electrical systems, access controls, and fire/life-safety systems.

• Support tenant improvement and capital projects, inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency response.
• Respond professionally to tenant/customer service requests and communicate effectively with property management and other teams.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and occasional overtime.

We are seeking an experienced Operating Engineer to support the daily operation and maintenance of a premier commercial property in the Dallas Uptown area. Key Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial building systems.

• Reliable transportation and ability to respond to emergency/on-call situations.
