Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a skilled Middle DevOps Engineer (OpenShift, On-Prem) to join the Telecom Team for our client BICS. You will design and operate OpenShift clusters, automate deployments, and drive CI/CD pipelines in a global telecom environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on OpenShift/Kubernetes administration, on-prem infrastructure, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable services. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant professional experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms.
Experience deploying, operating, and maintaining OpenShift/Kubernetes in on‑prem environments.
Strong background in Linux administration and enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and design OpenShift solutions that meet business needs.
Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters on-premises (physical/virtual).
Own systems engineering projects related to OpenShift infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with development teams to containerize apps and optimize deployments using GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
Automate deployment tasks with Ansible and scripting; perform patching and upgrades per change-management.
