Charter Foods is seeking a Customer Service/Food-Kitchen Service Crew Member to join our team. The role emphasizes friendly guest interaction, order processing, and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include answering questions about the menu, preparing ingredients, restocking, and collaborating with delivery partners. This entry-level position requires 16+ years old, reliable transportation, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age. No previous experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and training materials.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Must get along well with coworkers and guests through a positive and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and positively engage guests in the restaurant.
• Accept guests’ orders and process payments.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable area for guests and team members.
• Work well with delivery partners.
• Maintain facility cleanliness by completing general clean tasks including wiping tables, washing dishes, and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Answer questions about menu items and promotions.
• Prepare ingredients and menu items.
• Restock product and workstations.
• Use food preparation equipment including ovens, fryers, grills and various kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment by completing general clean tasks including wiping workstations, cleaning equipment, washing dishes, and sweeping and mopping floors.

Job description

Looking for daytime work? The Opener/Days schedule is looking for employees who are able to work during the morning/early afternoon. Opening times vary by restaurant. Schedules for Openers can start as early as 6:00am. Dayshift typically ends by 4:00pm. Shift Length and specific Start/End times will vary within these times.

The Crew Member is the key to ensuring guest satisfaction. This is a very important position for a friendly, helpful individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
