Role Overview Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge GenAI team to help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We are exclusively seeking elite Open Source Maintainers and Core Contributors who possess deep, hands‑on ownership of mature, widely used open-source codebases. Your real‑world engineering and code review judgment will directly elevate the quality of our AI training data.

STRICT EXCLUSIVITY REQUIREMENT:This role requires a commitment of 30–40 hours per week on an exclusive basis: you must NOT hold any other full‑time role or participate in other AI training/evaluation projects during this engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Design incredibly challenging, realistic engineering tasks grounded in the open‑source codebase you know best (features, refactors, bug fixes).
• Evaluate AI‑written code, tests, and grading rubrics against your repository's architecture, conventions, and high quality bar.
• Build, run, and test projects locally (including with Docker) to confirm AI solutions behave as intended.
• Write highly precise rationales explaining what a strong solution looks like and exactly where AI‑generated changes fall short.

Candidate Profile

• OS Ownership: You are a Maintainer (named in MAINTAINERS/CODEOWNERS, or 10+ PR reviews in the last 12 months) OR a Core Contributor (3+ substantive merged PRs in the last 12 months) of a widely used open‑source project.
• Project Maturity: Your repository is 2+ years old, has real users, an active code review culture, and is primarily human‑written.
• Verifiable History: Years of sustained open‑source contributions with a public history verifiable via your GitHub account.
• Technical Stack: Hands‑on ability to build and run the project and its test suite locally (including Docker). Senior‑level code review judgment.
• Location: 100% Remote (Authorized to work in the country you reside in).
• Work Structure: Engaged as an independent contractor via Cincinnatus LLC (or appropriate EOR). You will be provided a company device for security purposes.
• Compensation: Highly lucrative flat rate of $150.00 per hour.
• Payments: Processed securely and weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
