Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Analyst in Forensics and Investigations within the GPS division to support federal investigations through open-source data research and analysis. The role emphasizes independent work, clear communication, and strong attention to detail.

You will ingest diverse data, identify patterns, and produce analytic intelligence notes while ensuring legal and privacy compliance. Travel and eligibility for US work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year of open source research or investigations experience producing analyses.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
• Ability to travel 5-10%, on average, based on the work you do and clients served.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support federal investigations through open source data research and intelligence analysis.
• Support investigations through collection, analysis, and synthesis of publicly available information.
• Identify relevant actors, networks, trends, and digital traces.
• Produce clear, defensible intelligence products and support investigators with timely research and analysis.
• Research public records, social media, news, websites, forums, and other open sources.
• Correlate data to build timelines, link charts, and entity profiles.
• Produce intelligence notes, reports, and briefing materials.
• Validate sources and document analytical confidence.
• Support investigators with rapid-turn analysis and ad hoc research.
• Maintain compliance with legal, privacy, and policy requirements.
