Job summary

The OpenClaw Foundation is seeking exceptional Members of Technical Staff (MTS) to maintain and evolve core OpenClaw components. You will work as an open-source maintainer and product engineer, enabling a broad contributor community and shaping the platform's technical standards.

We expect strong software engineering, distributed systems expertise, and a passion for open source. You will ship production code, review contributions, and help define governance and interoperable, vendor-neutral

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production systems experience and strong distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with APIs, backend systems, and developer platforms.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and modern development practices.
• Excellent technical communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and evolve core OpenClaw components.
• Review contributions, guide architectural decisions, and improve DX.
• Collaborate with a global community and governance bodies.
• Define interoperability standards and vendor-neutral infrastructure.
• Advance agent infrastructure and security across projects.
• Mentor contributors and help shape project roadmaps.
