Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track faculty position in theoretical high energy physics with connections to astrophysics. The successful candidate will join the Department of Physics and collaborate with CCAPP, starting Autumn 2027, and will build an internationally recognized research program.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or a closely related field is required.
• Strong record in teaching/mentoring is expected for senior ranks.
• Ability to foster cross-disciplinary research and build an extramurally funded program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a productive research program at the intersection of high energy physics and astrophysics.
• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses and mentor students.
• Contribute to service missions and university-wide initiatives.
