Job summary

University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an Open Rank radiologist to join our multispecialty radiology practice in the School of Medicine. The position supports in-person, hybrid, and remote options with a focus on diagnostic imaging and academic involvement.

The role emphasizes teaching, clinical coverage, and participation in multidisciplinary conferences. ABR-certified or eligible radiologists with MD/DO and NM licensure plans are welcomed.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• ABR board certification or eligibility by contract start date is required.
• State licensure in New Mexico must be obtainable.
• Academic appointment with teaching responsibilities is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic radiology services across imaging modalities.
• Teach and mentor radiology residents and fellows.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, tumor boards, and education activities.
• Balance clinical duties with scholarly and research opportunities.
