Job summary

Qualifications

• Earned PhD in nursing or related field with master's in nursing.
• Active Kentucky Nursing license as a registered nurse, or ability to obtain one.
• Record of extramurally funded research in cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment and/or self-management.

Responsibilities

• Secure external funding from federal, state, and local agencies and foundations.
• Conduct and disseminate research through peer‑reviewed journals and scholarly works.
• Teach across the curriculum and provide mentorship to students and junior faculty.
• Participate in service to the university and profession and promote inclusive excellence.
