Open Rank Professor Health and Human Performance at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) begins Fall 2024-2025. This is a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Health & Human Performance with a focus on research, teaching and service.

Applicants must hold an earned doctorate in Health-related field and be CHES/MCHES/CPH certified or eligible; preferred candidates have post-doctoral research experience, grant activity and a strong record in health

Qualificações

• An earned doctorate in Health, Health Education, Health Promotion, Public Health, or related field from an accredited university.
• Candidates must be MCHES, CHES or CPH certified or eligible.
• Preference will be given to candidates with 1+ year of post-doctoral research, grant submission/procurement, and a record in health promotion/public health.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain a focused research agenda and pursue external funding opportunities.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in health education and public health.
• Engage in service to the department, college, university, and professional organizations.
