Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field by the time of appointment.
• Proven excellence in research and scholarship
• Commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Establish or sustain a nationally and internationally recognized research program.
• Contribute to undergraduate and graduate education and mentoring.
• Foster collaborations within Rice University and with external partners including NASA JSC and industry.
• Engage in service to the department, school, university, and professional community.
