Position Summary

The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an outstanding individual to join our Abdominal Imaging section. In-person, and hybrid options all available, as well as academic and staff (100% clinical) positions. Clinical responsibilities encompass primary diagnostic and consultative service in Abdominal and Oncologic Imaging (X‑ray/Fluoro, CT, MRI, US) for exams performed at multiple locations, but no interventional procedures. Section members typically rotate at our adjacent NCI‑designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and participate in clinical consultations, tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences. Research opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and image processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publications staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or equivalent
  • Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Abdominal/body/oncologic imaging fellowship, completed by contract start date, or comparable experience
  • ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date
