NC State University seeks an Open Rank Non-Tenure Track faculty member in Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning to teach studios and seminars at all levels. Rank will be determined by education and professional experience.

Possible one-semester or one-year appointments with renewal; candidates should have strong teaching potential and professional practice relevance to the field.

Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree in landscape architecture, environmental planning or a related field with professional practice in that field.
• A terminal degree is required to teach at the graduate level and professional practice in the related field is expected.
• Demonstrated ability or aptitude in the courses to be taught and potential to direct related activities.
• Ability and willingness to participate in department and university affairs and demonstrate leadership.

Responsibilities

• Specific teaching opportunities include landscape architecture and environmental planning studios at all levels.
• Appointments may be available on a semester or academic year basis, with renewal possibility.
• Other duties as assigned.
