Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for Assistant, Associate or Professor level in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology division. MDs and PhDs are welcome. We seek hepatologists with transplant experience and GI specialists with subspecialty interests in esophageal disease, motility, IBD, oncology, or general GI.

Researchers in mucosal immunology are encouraged to apply. Academic rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• MDs and PhDs welcomed to apply.

• Hepatology with transplant experience or GI with subspecialty interests (esophageal disease, motility, IBD, oncology) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellows.
• Provide patient care in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
• Engage in multidisciplinary clinical and translational research.
