Job summary

The ideal candidate will contribute to research, teaching, and service, and pursue collaborations across disciplines.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have at least one first-author publication. Final candidates will be invited to interview in February 2027.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong research productivity (e.g., first-author publications).

Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead independent research in microbiology, immunology, or molecular genetics.
• Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Engage in service and build collaborations within UCLA and across disciplines.
