Qualifications

An earned Ph.D. in cybersecurity, computer science, or information technology with demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity.
A minimum of 7 years of industry experience for a professional-in-residence appointment is preferred.
Desire to mentor students and a commitment to teaching excellence.
A demonstrated, vibrant Christian faith compatible with the mission of Azusa Pacific University (Faculty members are required to sign a Statement of Faith).

Responsibilities

Prepare and teach cybersecurity and computer science courses up to 12 units per semester.
Collaborate in the design process for new bachelor’s and master’s degrees in cybersecurity, building upon the department’s existing computer science offerings.
Participate in mentoring and academic advising of students.
Participate in department and university affairs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.
Integrate Christian faith in all aspects of instruction.
