The University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Dentistry is looking for a full-time non-tenure clinical faculty member to join the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys teaching, takes pride in mentoring the next generation of dentists, and wants to grow in academic dentistry over the long term.
This role sits at the intersection of clinical education, patient care, and day-to-day academic operations. You will be directly shaping how pre-doctoral students develop into confident, competent dentists.
This position is based in the Division of General Practice within the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. The Division operates on a Group Practice model, organized into eight group practices. The 40 hours weekly will be distributed according to the scheduled clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, including evening clinics from 4:00- 6:30 pm.
Day to day, your responsibilities will include:
Hiring range: $135,000 to $150,000 (depending on academic rank and commensurate with education and experience).
