Job summary

The University of Miami Health System seeks a Clinical Gastroenterologist (open rank) to provide direct inpatient and outpatient care to hepatology patients at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The physician will deliver outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, as well as rounding and teaching on inpatients at UHealth Towers and JMH.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification in internal medicine.
• Completion of transplant hepatology training is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outpatient clinical practice at UHealth locations, UHealth Towers, and/or satellite locations.
• Reading of Fibroscans.
• Rotate proportionate to other faculty on Hepatology inpatient and JMH teaching services.

The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for a Clinical Gastroenterologist (open rank).

The physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient care to Hepatology patients at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, as well as rounding/teaching on inpatients at UHealth Towers, and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Preferred physician who has experience as a Transplant Hepatologist.

• Completed 3-year ACGME US Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology fellowship.
• Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License.
• Valid DEA licensure.
• Completion of transplant hepatology training.
