Job summary

The positions are full-time, calendar-year based, with responsibilities in research (85%), teaching (10%), and service (5%).

Qualifications

• Ph.D., MD or equivalent.
• Evidence of ability as a teacher.
• Evidence of activity as a scholar and ability in all duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Grow a competitive basic and translational cancer research program.
• Collaborate with researchers at GCC, AU, and other institutions.
• Publish in high-impact journals and present at conferences.
• Regularly apply for peer-reviewed grants (NCI, DOD, NIH) and maintain funding.
• After year three, cover at least 35% of the research salary via grants or other sources.
