Job summary

The candidate will lead diagnostic sign-out, participate in multidisciplinary conferences, and contribute to education, clinical trials, and scholarly work. Texas licensure and AP/CP board eligibility are required or anticipated.

Qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree in a field relevant to department mission.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in Texas.
• Must be AP/CP or AP Board certified or eligible within departmental timeline.
• Current CPR or BCLS or ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic patient care as Bone & Soft Tissue Pathologist.
• Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary conferences, and clinical trials.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, JCAHO, FDA, Medicare, and CLIA.
• Supervise and mentor fellows, residents, technologists, and laboratory personnel.
• Collaborate on basic, translational research and scholarly activity.
