Job summary

Mineral Ridge Gold, LLC is seeking a Mine Geologist to direct daily ore and waste routing for our open pit operations. The role focuses on accurate classification of material to leach pads, waste dumps, or stockpiles, and using Micromine to interpolate grades against the block model.

You will collaborate with Mine Operations, Survey, and Metallurgy teams, log drilling and sampling data, and contribute to safety and environmental practices on a remote site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geological Engineering required.
• 3–5 years ore/grade control experience in mining operations.
• Micromine experience; PXRF field analysis knowledge helpful.
• Ability to work onsite at a remote mining operation.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily ore and waste routing for mined material.
• Import assay results into Micromine and run grade interpolation.
• Apply cut-off grade and blend logic to classify ore/waste.
• Update grade control database and deliver daily production updates.
• Coordinate with Mine Operations, Survey, and Metallurgy/Process teams.
