Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience (clinical rotations count) preferred.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the surgical suite.
• Intraoperative handling of instruments and maintaining sterile field.
• Evaluate changing conditions during procedures and respond appropriately.
• May serve as a preceptor as needed.
