OP - CAD Design Engineer with Battery Pack

Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Define battery pack architecture aligned with product specs and manufacturing constraints.
• Conduct design studies, mechanical calculations, and integrate simulation results.
• Deliver high-quality outputs (3D models, drawings) on time.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to define component requirements.
• Develop design tools, guides, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, UG NX) and knowledge of ISO standards (GD&T, stack-up analysis).
• Expertise in battery pack design, plastics/metallic parts, thermal management, electronics, and harnesses.
• Familiarity with CAD quality tools (QChecker), PLM systems, and design FMEA.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organisational skills, and ability to deliver under deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
