Superyacht Crew UK is seeking a 2nd Officer for a private & charter 65m+ motor yacht, currently crossing to Miami with frequent short-notice charters. The role requires an OOW ticket (or near completion) and a strong, hands-on deck presence to lead the deck team and engage guests.

The role offers a dynamic schedule with 24-hour turnarounds, active watersports, and a crew culture focused on fitness and an active lifestyle. Start date is 1st November with 90 days leave and permanent contract.

Qualifications

• OOW certification required or nearing completion
• Hands-on on-deck experience preferred over bridge-focused roles
• Flexible and level-headed leadership for 24-hour turnarounds and fast-moving schedules
• Genuine guest interaction and active deck duties are expected

Responsibilities

• Lead the deck team (Chief Officer, Second Officer, Bosun, Deckhands) and maintain safety standards
• Engage guests and coordinate watersports and charter activities
• Adapt to frequent short-notice charters and changes in itinerary while maintaining professionalism
