Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Ohio is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Technician to operate and optimize industrial and sanitary wastewater systems onsite. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting plant operations with data analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ohio EPA Water Reclamation Class A operator license or higher.
• Ohio EPA Water Supply Class A license or higher, or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation habits.
• Working familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite software: Excel, Word, etc.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operator for the wastewater treatment system.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs on treatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot system upsets and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct laboratory testing and interpret results for process control.
• Maintain records of system performance and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and EHS teams to support plant operations.
• Assist with environmental monitoring activities and safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
