Purdue University Fort Wayne is hiring a full-time on-site Warehouse Laborer and Operations Clerk in our Warehouse Operations division in Fort Wayne, IN. The role blends physical warehouse duties with administrative tasks and offers a pay of $16.00/hr.

Hours are Weekdays, 8am-4pm, with a fast-paced environment and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include receiving and sorting mail, maintaining parcel records, operating pallet jacks or forklifts, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years in receiving/distribution, warehousing, or related duties.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Forklift certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive campus mail and vendor items.
• Sort mail by department and building.
• Deliver mail inside buildings.
• Maintain parcel records and inspect for damages.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of USPS packaging rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
