Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Louisville, KY is seeking a Virtual Sitter to provide continuous remote monitoring for residents at risk of falls, elopement, or self-harm. You will communicate with nurses, obtain care reports, and escalate safety concerns as needed, ensuring resident safety and a supportive care environment.

The role requires a High School diploma, healthcare experience, and preferred CNA/Medical Assistant certification. On-site schedule 7A–7P Fri/Sat/Sun at corporate office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare preferred.
• CNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook; basic Internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident safety remotely via continuous visualization and room cameras.
• Coordinate with facility nurses to adjust camera privacy during care or visits.
• Obtain verbal report from nurses on ambulation limitations and care plans.
• Escalate concerns to nurses or manager when immediate intervention is needed.
• Redirect residents to prevent harm and notify nurses of safety issues.
• Work cooperatively as part of the care team and adapt to changing needs.
• Maintain professional communication with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
