Job summary

MSI Viking in Aurora, OH is seeking a Calibration Technician to work onsite at a customer facility. The role focuses on torque calibration with some electronic/electrical calibration responsibilities.

You will perform calibration, testing, and documentation in line with A2LA/ISO 17025 requirements, calibrate torque equipment, update tracking software, and generate calibration certificates and records. This embedded role requires close collaboration with the customer's team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of calibration experience preferred.
• Strong experience with torque calibration.
• Experience with electronic/electrical calibration is a plus.
• Familiarity with metrology and calibration practices.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow calibration procedures and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-site environment.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, kneeling, and prolonged standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing, and documentation activities in accordance with A2LA/ISO 17025 requirements.
• Calibrate torque equipment and related devices, and perform electronic/electrical calibration.
• Update tracking software and generate calibration certifications and records.
• Work embedded at the customer facility and represent MSI Viking onsite.
