Job summary

System One is seeking a Test Engineer for our Lebanon, Ohio site. Direct Hire, onsite work, with a salary range of $80,000–$90,000 per year. You must live within commutable distance and sponsorship/C2C are not available.

The role involves defining validation requirements, developing test plans, and coordinating testing with engineering and R&D teams. The ideal candidate has a mechanical/electrical/agricultural engineering background, 2+ years in testing or validation, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 2+ years in product testing, validation, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic/electrical systems preferred
• Experience operating forestry/construction/agricultural heavy equipment a plus
• Strong attention to detail and solid leadership/communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with engineering, product management, sales and customers to define performance expectations and validation requirements.
• Establishes project goals, priorities and test requirements.
• Develops product and component test and validation plans.
• Coordinates and oversees testing with engineering and R&D support.
• Generates test reports for internal/external review.
• Documents testing policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Researches and evaluates materials, assemblies, processes and equipment for testing.
• Serves as a technical resource to the product development team.
• Performs site/customer visits and field/product testing as required.
• Manages project-related testing costs and resources.
• Monitors team metrics to achieve goals.
